Deleting your account or data

Deleting removes your account and everything in it, from Clipmine and this phone, at once.

In Privacy & data, tap Delete account (or Delete my data as a guest). Clipmine asks twice, and if you signed in a while ago, asks you to confirm it's you first. A library that was never sent to Clipmine is removed from this phone with Delete local data; there is no account to delete, and none is created to delete it.

Without the app, go to https://clipmine.ai/delete-account and sign in with the same Apple or Google account you use in Clipmine. A guest library isn't in an account, so it can only be deleted in the app on the phone that has it. See Do I need an account?.

What is deleted

Your saves, collections, conversations and uploaded files, from Clipmine and from this phone, with the count of analyses you used. It can't be undone, and nobody at Clipmine can bring it back. Uploaded files can take a moment to finish clearing from storage; the app says so while it happens.

An assistant you connected, such as Claude or ChatGPT, stops working the moment you confirm, and its connection is deleted. All Clipmine keeps is a record that the deletion happened, with nothing you saved in it.

If you'd like a copy first, see Exporting your data.
